Quick question.
Is it possible for one to hold to episcopal church government AND (for the most part) The Westminster Standards?

Quick answer: no. On the question of polity the Westminster is decidedlly Presbyterian.
If you are looking for a "happy medium" I recomend the CREC.

Thanks pastor Rogers.
I was pretty much thinking along those lines.
I see the usefulness of most of the major confessions of classical Protestantism as good guidelines and statements of faith but I guess I've never
been what one could call a strict subscriptionist.

I guess when it comes down to brass tacks I'll have to go with the 39 Articles and some of the Westminster thrown in. Then of course there's The
Three Forms and the...umm uh...
What can I say, they all have their strengths and weaknesses like any uninspired documents. I enjoy studying through them all.
